I like this~ It's different from all of the other Geisha pictures I've seen. xD
Though I do have a lot of crits. First is the colors, they are very strong and the shadow colors make them look a bit flat. Here's some stuff that may help ^_^'
The hills that are closest to her are the only ones that need a lot of detail, the ones that are farther away can blend into the sunset.
The sun is too dark, and the sky is too dark. If the sun was still in the sky, and not obstructed by clouds, the sky would be much more colorful with purples, pinks oranges etc.
The woman would be back lit, because the background has such strong colors she's getting washed out of the picture.
Overall, there are too many focus points in this picture, it's great idea and the layout is wonderful, but the hills, sky and the bottom of her dress keep grabbing all of the attention. Here are some pictures of hills and sunsets that you could work from;
I agree that there are too many focal points and the colors are very bright or too dark. however I was intenualy going for a flat look with few colors. I've keep the line art. so later I may try agian. perhaps only useing soild colors.
